We Offer: Innovative Formulation Solutions. We can bring our knowledge and experience and our freedom from the distractions of regular work to brainstorming sessions about your needs, your problems, your challenges. We bring a strong understanding of current formulation methods and real-world agricultural practices. We understand formulation costs and regulatory constraints, intellectual property issues, and overall formulation project timelines and costs. We have demonstrated that we can create innovative and patentable solutions for agricultural formulation needs. We delight in the challenge of formulation problem-solving. Let us take a try at your challenges, whether they are projects you lack the people resources to handle or the problems you haven’t been able to solve. We can work independently and report our results to you, or work collaboratively with your own formulations staff.
Robin Dexter holds a PhD in Applied Science from King’s College, Newcastle upon Tyne, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Durham. Robin has 20 years of experience in Agchem R&D and varied other polymer and colloid chemistry research experience. His research has involved Formulation Development from concept to manufacture, new active ingredient Discovery and Product Support for both herbicides and insecticides. Robin has worked on innovative non-crop formulations, as well a spray drift control issues.
Jim Bahr earned his PhD in Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania and his BS in Chemistry at MIT and has 33 years of experience in Agchem R&D. His responsibilities included ten years of Herbicide Discovery management (a team of chemists, biochemists, biologists, and a field research farm) with a personal focus of field trials and herbicide Product Support. He has had responsibilities for global pre-development and development project management of herbicides, insecticides, and a fungicide. For three years, Jim led a multi-disciplinary team including biologists, regulatory scientists, and process and formulation chemists. He actively participated in numerous R&D strategic planning efforts.
